Around us

Around us

Thibivillers is a village of 150 souls on the plateau of the French Vexin, between Chaumont-en-Vexin and Gisors, on the edge of Normandy. Everything is close, and nothing is hurried.

The French Vexin is one of the best-preserved stretches of countryside around Paris: a plateau of wheat and rapeseed cut by wooded valleys, villages of pale stone and half-timbering, Romanesque churches, wash-houses, castles. People come to walk, cycle, play golf, sightsee — or do nothing at all. Here are our addresses, from the doorstep to an hour's drive.
